In questi giorni ho smesso un attimo di cucire la mia copertina coi gatti perchè le mie amiche del gruppo di patchwork mi hanno invitato, in verità mi son offerta io, a cucire un altro fiore.

E han chiesto che fosse bianco perchè nell'insieme della coperta quelli bianchi son pochi e invece stanno bene; così ho cercato le margherite che, con un tocco di giallo mi sembran proprio carine.

Ma ormai l'estate è arrivata e con lei gli splendidi frutti sugli alberi.

Vicino al condominio dove abito c'è una villetta con un orto curato amorevolmente da un signore anziano molto gentile che ogni tanto mi offre i frutti del suo terreno. Anche queste splendide pesche noce, meravigliose alla vista  e al gusto.

E sempre rimanendo in tema di verde vi mostro il salice piangente che invece si trova nel nostro giardino condominiale: è una pianta che adoro che mi ispira tranquillità, pace, serenità, mi pare una pianta d'altri tempi, antica.

In these days I stopped sewing my cats' quilt because my patchwork group friends invited me to sew another flower.

And they asked me to sew a white one because they  are few but rather nice, so I sewed some  daisies that, with a touch of yellow,   seem  to me very pretty.

Now summer's here and  the trees have beautiful fruit. Here is a nectarine in my neighbor's garden. My neighbor is a very kind old man who occasionally gives me the fruits of his trees, for example this splendid nectarine, beautiful for eyes and taste.

Going on with green matter, this weeping willow is in our common garden: a plant that I love and inspires me quiet, peace, serenity, it seems to me a plant of other times.
